Asakusa Samba Festival (Part 3)

Filed under: Events — myyearinjapan @ 6:00 am

Again, as promised, more pictures from the Asakusa Samba festival!
The theme of this post: Samba? Things that don’t quite seem to fit the theme of Samba, but for some reason, were featured at the festival anyway. Some of these are more Japanese that Brazilian. Some of them are just strange.
Reminder: my view was not very good. It was packed with people and we got there just before it started. So, the blurs on the edges of the photographs, those are the people in front of me, blocking my view. Sorry about that.
Enjoy!

HAT. nothing more too it. just HAT. (--????)

Hat people, who followed the car with the HAT sign. The hat people look more like hicks to me...but why?
