Kit Kat Flavors

Filed under: Kit Kat Flavors, Strange — myyearinjapan @ 9:17 am

In the US, I only ever saw one flavor of Kit Kats. Just plain chocolate. But in Japan, they have more variety in their flavors.

  1. That’s pretty gross. What do kit-kats think they are now, Pocky Sticks?!
Okay, so Kit-Kats have a zillion flavors in Japan (even weird ones you would never expect, like “muscat.” But Gatorade has only one flavor in Japan! (plain clear Gatorade, the same flavor as its main competitors, Pocarii Sweat and Aquarius….come on, if they had different flavors they would eclipse both of ’em!)

  3. hmmm….I never thought of that. Something like Kit Kats that only had one flavor in the US, has a lot of flavors in Japan, but something that has a bunch of flavors in the US, like Gatorade, only has one flavor in Japan. Interesting…

No, I haven’t tried any yet, but if I do, I think I’d try the roasted tea flavor. Or, I dunno. What flavor do you think looks good?

  4. I am not sure the Mcflurry one looks interesting. But so does the tea one.

  5. The mcflurry one looks the most interesting to me. It has so many different flavors in it! But the tea one looks the most delicious I think.

  10. Hello there,

I am also spending a year in Japan and have discovered the beauty that is special edition Kit Kats. I would love to talk to you both about your travels as well as where you managed to find all these great flavors. I’ve been blogging about the ones I’ve found as well.
