Ueno Park (Part 4)

Filed under: Tokyo places, Yamanote-Sen — myyearinjapan @ 7:45 am

Yet more pictures from Ueno park. I took quite a lot of pictures there I guess.
I actually went back to Ueno Park this morning because everything was closed last time. This time, the park was very different. The last time I went, the park was fairly empty and serene, but today, it was absolutely packed. Little kids running around everywhere chasing pigeons. More street performers than last week, with bigger audiences. A street fair was going on and they were selling lots of ceramics as well as other odds and ends and food, such as takoyaki and okonomiyaki. Anyway, back to the pictures of the more deserted park I saw last week.

totem pole. I have no idea why its there, but it is.
