Tsukiji Fish Market

Filed under: Tokyo places — myyearinjapan @ 4:57 am

I visited Tsukiji wholesale fish market a few weeks ago as the sun was coming up. It’s one of the world’s largest wholesale fish markets and quite an experience to go visit. They had closed the famous tuna auction to visitors due to some unruly people hug the fish, licking the fish etc. But when we heard it was re-opened, we jumped at the chance to go visit.
