Here are some pictures of the cherry blossoms from when I was in Hiroshima in March. It was kind of early in the cherry blossom season, but we still saw some nice flowers.

A little cluster of blossoms
After Kurashiki, I travelled to Hiroshima, a little bit farther down the coast. One of the things we saw there was a Japanese garden called Shukkeien (縮景園).
The park is right in the middle of the city.
If you’re ever in Kurashiki (or I suppose even in nearby Hiroshima) and you want to go someplace offbeat, try the Kurashiki Piggy Bank Museum. (倉敷貯金箱博物館) It’s just off the main road on a floor above an antiques shop. They even let us go in for free.
This creepy bunny welcomes you to the museum
The front of the museum. It's hard to miss a storefront with so many plastic dogs on top...
